Galerie Jamar, established at Cockerillkaai in Antwerp's south area, exists since 1989.

It highlights Belgian modern and contemporary art, from James Ensor and Léon Spilliaert to Marcel Broodthaers, Pierre Alechinsky, Jef Geys, Jan Fabre and Panamarenko.

As the transition from modern to contemporary art has created a large and fascinating artistic landscape, the gallery exhibits important work of artists who are - or were - leading in their time and style.
